Spring training attendance dips in 2018 despite record Chicago Cubs games

One of the great things about the Arizona spring time, is all of the events that go on around the valley. Spring training may be one of the most well known, as half of major league baseball sends teams to the desert to prep for the upcoming season. With this, comes a ton of fans, although this year maybe not as many as usual

The 2018 season was shorter by two days and had 24 fewer games, drawing a total of 1.7 million baseball fans to metro Phoenix.
